DairyPass ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating a DairyPass account or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this document.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign up for DairyPass or manage your subscription, we collect the following personal information:

Full Name — to identify your account and address your deliveries.
Phone Number — to send delivery notifications, SMS OTP verification alerts, and WhatsApp order updates.
Email Address — for account registration, billing summaries, and service announcements.
Delivery Sector / Address — to assign you to the correct delivery route and rider.

We do not collect or store your date of birth, CNIC number, or any government-issued identification unless specifically required by law.

3. Payment Data & Financial Security

DairyPass does not store, process, or have access to your credit card, debit card, or bank account numbers.

All payment transactions — including wallet top-ups via debit card, credit card, JazzCash, or Easypaisa — are processed exclusively byPayFast, an SBP-licensed (State Bank of Pakistan) payment aggregator. Your card data is encrypted and handled entirely within PayFast's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. DairyPass only receives a confirmation of a successful or failed transaction — never the underlying card details.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Account Management — to create and maintain your DairyPass subscriber profile and wallet balance.
Delivery Coordination — to route your daily delivery to the correct sector and notify your assigned rider.
SMS OTP Alerts — to verify your identity during login and sensitive account changes (such as phone number updates or wallet withdrawals).
Wallet Management — to process automatic deductions upon each successful delivery and send low-balance alerts.
Service Communications — to notify you of subscription changes, delivery updates, or policy amendments.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your DairyPass account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for a longer period (e.g., financial transaction records required by the State Bank of Pakistan).

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
